New Arrivals -January 2012

We have some very exciting new arrivals (lots of new Fender Telecasters too).

A USA Fender Stratocaster was found in the very rare sea foam color combined with a maple neck.  I have seen these only in Custom Shop models costing $2,500.00 and up and a few Made in Mexico models (the 50's reproductions with the single ply pickguards, these usually sell for about $700.00), but never before in a USA model.

We found an excellent Made in Japan Deluxe Fender Telecaster; its sunburst with white body binding and a rosewood neck.  Made in Japan Stratocasters had a huge increase in value in 2011 (we sold one MIJ Strat for $1,500.00), but the Made in Japan Telecasters haven't been "discovered" yet for their high quality.   These MIJ telecasters are as good as or better than comparable USA models and they are a real bargain at present.

Finally, we added a Made in Korea Telecaster Special Ash Lite Edition with a natural ash body, a birdseye maple neck and abalone fret dots (we also have this same model in a Strat).  In my humble opinion these are easily the most undervalued Fenders at present.  The component quality is comparable to the USA Custom Shop and the build is superb.   I recenly had a professional musician try out about a dozen of my Telecasters, and gave him his choice in exchange for a very nice vintage amp (a '65 Ampeg ReverbeRocket, since sold); he tried them all and chose this MIK Telecaster as the best playing Tele (it was my first choice too).  Anyway he took that one and I was lucky to replace it within a week.  I fully expect the street value on these guitars to appreciate faster than on any other Fender.
